Aptamil 1 with Prebiotics


  • Highly adapted milk for the newborn, and infant up to 6 months of age
  • Aptamil 1 provides the complete nutritional requirements of the child during the first six months of life

The composition of fats, carbohydrates, proteins, supplemented with taurine, choline, inositol, l-carnitine, LCP, and nucleotide closely resembles the composition of mother's milk.

The content of electrolytes, microelements and vitamins is adequate for the needs of a child at this age, while osmolality is equivalent to osmolality of mother's milk.

Aptamil 2 is a complete milk formula adapted to nutritional needs of the older infant.

Compared to the starter formula (Aptamil 1), Aptamil 2 contains somewhat more protein, electrolytes and microelements, while its content of fats is lower. In the structure of carbohydrates, maltodextrin has a 30% share. The vitamin content is approximately the same.

The adapted relation between casein and whey protein is 50:50, which is a novelty in keeping with recommendations of the European Committee on Nutrition, for better tolerance of cow's milk proteins and reduction of allergy risks.

Aptamil 2, supplemented by adequate non milk nutrition, provides all conditions for normal growth and development of a healthy infant from 6 to 12 months of age.

Aptamil 3 is designated for nutrition of the child in the phase of transfer from mother's milk or standard milk formula to ordinary cow's milk. Compared to Aptamil 2, Aptamil 3 contains more protein and carbohydrates, and as opposed to ordinary cow's milk, it contains less electrolytes, higher quality fats, an optimal content of microelements and vitamins, added nucleotides and prebiotics.

The adapted ratio between casein and whey protein in the formula is 50:50, recommending the milk with lower casein content also in the second year of life.

Along with adequate non milk nutrition, Aptamil 3 provides all nutrients required for the normal growth and development of the child in the second year of life.
